Heritage Memorial - Military Shadowboxes
I grew up travelling to other lands and cultures as a child in a military family, and I subsequently fell in love with History.  Heritage Memorial came into existence inspired by that respect, specifically the desire to pay tribute to my family's long-time military service. In 1700's Scotland, Lord Frances Humberston MacKenzie raised a kilted Regiment of Foot for the King of England;  that regiment became the Seaforth Highlanders, in time becoming one of the most highly decorated units in British and Scottish military history. I am proud to own and wear the Seaforth military kilt, the regimental pattern of which is my MacKenzie family tartan since the 1770's. A great-Grandfather served with the Confederacy in the Civil War; my Grandfather in the U.S. Army in World War 1; two Uncles were decorated for service -- in the Navy in WW2  and the Air Force during the Korean War; and my Father's own distinguished and highly decorated 30-year Air Force career started in 1943. In paying homage to them with military display cases, I was inspired to pay homage to other veterans' service, and a new business model was born.  My customers' needs are of the utmost importance, and I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from referrals of friends and previous customers and/or their families.

I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you an excellent framed item to recognize your military service, whether 4 years or 34 years!    Family members deserve to know the importance of one's military time served, and the veteran deserves a visual  recognition of the same.  I believe the highly tangible aspect of a display case engenders conversations that should never be forgotten...
